What Is Green Homes Grant?
The Green Homes Grant is a new initiative for homeowners to help them make their homes more energy efficient. This scheme will be launched towards the end of September 2020 and will run until March 2021
Under this scheme the government will pay 2/3 of the cost of energy- efficient home improvements up to the value of £5000 per household. In some eligible cases the value could be higher to the max value of £10,000.
The grants will be provided in the form of vouchers which can be used towards the cost of installing energy-efficient and low-carbon heating improvements to homes.
Environmentally friendly improvements such as loft, floor and wall insulation or double glazing to replace single glazing are included in the scheme. These improvements will result in huge savings on their energy bills.
Under Green Homes Grant scheme, we offer:
Room in Roof Insulation.
We will also provide you with new radiators and Heating controls.

Enjoy Instant Benefits
Boiler Grants are non-repayable, this means you do not have to pay any money back at any time. There are no complicated terms and conditions. If you qualify for a grant, you can have a new boiler installed along with new heating controls (where necessary). The amount of funding you get is determined by the efficiency of your home, so an energy assessment will be carried out free of charge. In some instances a small contribution may be required. It is likely you will qualify if:
• You own your home (or, in some cases, rent from a private landlord; landlord permission needed)
• you meet the benefits related criteria (see list of full qualifying benefit) and your current boiler is at least 7years old (not condensing), you could qualify. It’s as simple as that.

First Time Heating
Based on current prices, the average cost of having a central heating system installed privately is approximately £3,500, however, taking advantage of a heating grant can save you a considerable amount of money.
Once your new central heating system has been fitted, you can sit back and enjoy your new warm home with the benefit of lower energy bills as a result of your A-rated efficiency boiler. All of our boilers come with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty for extra peace of mind. [READ MORE]
How To Apply
Simply click the button below and complete the egibility form. Member of our team will call you back to discuss your application.
To be eligible you must own your property or privately rent (i.e. not a council house or housing association property) and must not have an existing central heating system (a boiler and radiators).
Heating systems will be gas or oil depending on how close your house is to the mains gas network and will consist of a boiler and radiators. Radiators will be installed in your ‘habitable rooms’ e.g. your living room, bedrooms etc. Eligibility may also be linked to income.
We can help you with the following type of insulation:
- Internal Wall Insulation
- Loft Insulation
- Under Floor Insulation
- Room In Roof
Insulating a solid wall home properly can add to a home’s market value by significantly improving its Energy Efficiency Rating. In the case of internal wall insulation can improve the interior decor and appearance of a property.
The cost of internal wall insulation is around half the cost of external wall insulation (at about £40/m² and £50/m²) so that could be a factor if you need to pay for some of the work yourself. According to the Energy Saving Trust, you can expect to see savings of around £455 on your annual heating bills. Internal wall insulation is a better option if you don’t want to change the look of your building externally.
Inevitably, you will sacrifice a little bit of space inside your property, but by the time the work is done and dusted you’ll hardly notice. You will notice the extra heat though. After all, that’s what the internal wall insulation grants are all about. Your newly insulated home will retain a lot more heat, so you can turn your thermostat down and see the savings stack up without feeling any less warm and cosy.
